Flights
Over San
Francisco

What can be said about San Francisco that
you haven't already heard.... except that it's even better from above!! Both day and night flights are
impressive. If you're
new to the San Francisco bay area, we strongly suggest that you come fly with us as your first
activity. We can help you plan the rest of your time in the area
from above and you'll be surprised how much easier it is to find your
way around once you've got the 1,500 ft plan together.
Golden Gate
Bridge
Finished in 1937 after 4 years of construction and
around $35 Million dollars, the Golden Gate Bridges 4,200 foot suspension s pan was the longest in the world for over two decades. The water under the bridge is around 400 foot deep and the towers rise over 700 feet above the water. Plan for afternoon and
evening departures during
the summer months as the typical weather
pattern will require that we wait a bit for the fog to burn
off in the
morning. Unlike planes, helicopters are only required to
maintain
a
safe distance from the bridge. This allows us to provide you with
a
substantially more impressive look at this historic bridge.
Palace of Fine Arts
Originally built as part of the 1915
Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the Place
of Fine Arts is now one of the more
notable architectural
destinations in San Francisco. It is also the home of the Museum
of science, art, and human perception, also known
as the Exploratorium.
This is a wonderful place for kids of all ages. The Exploratorium
is a truly unique,
interactive educational experience.
Coit Tower
The
210 Foot tall, art deco styled, Coit tower was constructed in
honor of the fire fighters from the 1906
earthquake. Lillie
Hitchcock Coit donated funds to San Francisco and was a great
supporter of the fire
department. The tower is reminiscent of a fire hose nozzle and is
a wonderful place for sweeping views of the bay and also houses some
Diego Rivera inspired murals that were complete in the early 1930's as
part of the Works Progress Administration.
